Having built a couple of Les's designs and were impressed with the quality of the drawings and castings, I built this on a few years ago.

Great looking engine and build! By the size of the carb it looks like quite a large sized engine. What are the bore and stroke?
Thanks for posting,
gbritnell

Hello gbritnel.

The bore and stroke are 1.125 in. I use a 20 x 8 prop. It is quite a powerful machine. No idea what RPM, it is some time since I ran it.

Where can I get more info on building plans etc? I’m not skilled enough to build this myself but I’d like to have one built. This model 1/4 scale Collegian Project will be sent to the www.aeroncamuseum.org for exhibition. This is really something super special for American History which is all but lost with time. Any help on putting something like this together would be appreciated. Pm me for personal email.
