    An American in Spain

Hi Josh, Awhile ago Enco was selling 3/8 shank double ended end mills cheaply, most were Chinese of course, but I did get a couple that were marked AMTOS, Spain, the difference in quality was night and day. Just wondering if the company was still in business ? Welcome to the forum. Jim

Rich, My first and only foray into timing belts was converting my X3 mill to belt drive. I used a 5mm x 300mm HTD belt. I started will 3mm drill bits but wound up using an 1/8" end mill. In spite of my lack of skills it works well. I used this calculator...

    Keyless drill chucks

I have two that I bought from CDCO, both JT33, a 0- 3/8" on the mini lathe and a 1/32-1/2" on the X3 , both work well, I've used 1/16" drill bits on the mill, it's dead on. Jim

    Morse Taper Collets - Sources

I bought a set of 2MT collets from LMS over 4 years ago , one of the fingers on the ½" collet broke a while back so when ordering other items from CDCO I bought a ½" collet , I would say it is a better product than the one from LMS. I have bought other things from CDCO, 5C collet blocks, ER...

    ANZAC Day

When I hear the word ANZAC, I'm reminded of a documentary I watched a few years ago, it was done in the style of while a photo of a battle field or men or equipment was on the screen the narrator would read an after action report or letter home. In one segment there was a photo of three young...
