I bought the book from Camden Miniature steam services but I had to wait while they imported it from USA !!

I'm building the "Titan" from the Doug Kelley book at the moment. The drawings are very good but the scale is rather small with a few holes tapped 10BA (UK) or 0-80 and many tapped 2-56 which is 8BA here in the UK. I've broken one tap but most holes are done !!

I have that book and I can confirm that it contains the detailed plans for all four engines in the book.

I have two engines using the same peristaltic pump. I run them on methanol, which is compatible with silicon hoses, no problems a couple of years on. I add a little Castro R for lubrication as mineral oils don't mix.

Don't be put off trying your hand at welding. I have been welding all my career and I'm retired now. Compared to stick welding the small home MIG welders are quite easy to use. I run my hoglet on methanol, which is more compatible with the silicon hoses. It doesn't mix with conventional two stroke oil but is OK with Castrol R which is castor oil based. 50 to 1 is plenty strong enough.

A website that I looked at (can't remember which) sold a jockey wheel and spring to keep the tension correct on the non drive side of the toothed belt.
