    Kiwi Mk II

Thanks for the pointers ('scuse the pun) on ignition options. Here are some shots of the work I did on the cylinder head before Christmas. I misread the drawings and ended up putting an extra fin on the head, but I think I just about managed to improvise my way around the error. Hopefully the...

    Kiwi Mk II

Hi thanks, yes I am enjoying using the articles as well as the helpful advice found in this forum. One decision I have is what to do with the ignition as there was no spring steel or tungsten points in the kit. What did you do?

    Hello from Ealing. West London

Here are a few photos of a couple of Stuart models that I completed. The V10 was my first real steam project and is a little rough round the edges. The S50 I completed more recently and has come up quite nicely. I'm currently working on a Kiwi Mark II, my first IC engine and I've been taking...

    Hello from Ealing. West London

Slightly off topic for this forum, but I thought it might be of interest to a few. Last year I had fun restoring a 1952 LE Velocette motorbike that my father-in-law bought as a wreck 20 years ago and never did anything with. It was quite an involved 'lockdown' project that required a complete...
