    I offset it the .064" first and did the 1/4" hole then the thread & counterbore close to the .410" depth, then trued it up and finished the big cavity with a homemade grooving tool.

    I found the same issue when I modelled it. I moved the hole by .02" to .370", now it just misses the valve cage hole.
