    Something to drive ??

Well I had a chance to get some more parts done today. For the valves I am going to use some nylon balls and seats that I salvaged from an old air pump, these should be more than big enough for the job, and look ok when mounted in the cage that I have made. There is no reason that a plate valve...

Right then lets get down to it. I have decided to give this my best shot, please bear in mind this is the first model I have done without drawings, so anything could happen, and you will get all the gory details. Please shout up if you see something I could be doing another way, I am not easily...

    Model I/C designs/plans!

If you require any info on Merlins, try my friend, Peter Grieve. He has restored some full size engines and may be able to help with plans, but I will say they will not be cheap, I have seen what he has paid for drawings in the past !!! His website is here:-...

    My little workshop

Hello Bob, I do not know the manufacturers of the DRO`s that I have, they were bought from the people in the link below. The company were very good to deal with. In my honest opinion they were well worth the money. http://www.machine-dro.co.uk/index.php?target=categories&category_id=25 Cheers...

    My little workshop

Thanks for the comments. The mill is a universal, I have the support casting but unfortunately it did not come with the rest of the bits. The ribbons are for my other hobby which is the restoration of Stationary engines(Gas engines), which I have done for a number of years. Cheers, MartinH

    A THREAD FOR LURKERS ONLY

I too am guilty of this lurking lark. I hope to get in a few more posts in the near future as I have now got my new workshop to more or less being finished. The lathe and mill have been overhauled and I spent this weekend fitting DRO`s to them both(a very worthwhile investment). Like Dave above...
