I have a several Big Red Buttons which, when pressed, instantly isolate all the sockets in the workshop, leaving only the lights on. So far I've only used it to make sure everything is inert when children are visiting.

See if you can find a copy of "Scale Model Cannon History Design Construction" by Richard Stewart and Donald Heyes, ISBN 0 7195 3888 2. It includes plans for a variety of different cannons from various eras. I built a Mortar from it, came out reasonably well.

I'm curious - why not silver-solder the tank-ends as well ? Do ferrous metals and brass not stick together when silver-soldered ?

Stuart-Turner will sell you the drawings separately. My son found an old (1950's ?) set of 10H castings whilst clearing a shed, and S-T sold me the drawings for UKP 16 a couple of months ago.

Have a look at a Linux operating system (I use Mint), and Blender for the modelling. Both free.

Both my 1960's Ford 3000 tractors had this, and they would start in any weather, provided the battery was in good condition.
