Correct, the neg terminal on the coil goes to the points. They are a switch to ground. Don't forget to add a capacitor parallel to this part of the circuit. And the large centre terminal is the high tension lead to the spark plug.

Wayne, a buzz coil will not work with the cam configured as it is. It needs to be a single spark coil. Peter

Moving ahead slowly, some reciprocating parts fitted. Had to rework the crankshaft bearings to move the crankshaft .030" to the right to centre the connecting rod in the piston. Not sure yet where I mismeasured or machined wrong. Peter

Hi Wayne, it's been a lot of years since I built mine but I have the drawings stashed somewhere, I will look for them. I will try to get a picture of the cam also, if possible. The engine is mounted in my version of a hit and miss tractor and it may be difficult to get a picture. Peter

Welded, spliced and repaired many truck frames large and small. Never a problem. Clean , common sense , and a decent weld. No problem.

I'm not sure we can blame cross border shipping problems on any specific postal system. I have always used USPS for orders, ebay ,etc and have no complaints. Canada Post sometimes slows things up a bit but the biggest holdup seems to be customs clearance in both Can. and US. Peter
