Has anyone attended any of the Tormach Machine CNC classes? If so how would you rate them?

Where did you get it? These engines turn up on ebay or model engine shows from time to time. I know of about 5 that I have seen over the past 4 years or so. They do run pretty good.

Good looking engine. Looks similar to the Bill Reichart "Panther Pup". I am building the panther pup from Bill's booklet drawings. Just finished making the cylinders. Instead of brass I used 12L14 steel. The attached images are of the cylinders, made 1 extra for mistake management purposes...

Help: I'm having trouble locating a source for the 1,125 diameter brass gear for the Howell Power House valve timing gear. It is 48 pitch with 52 teeth. Already tried Boston Gear's website and Stock Drive Products. also ebay. Any suggestions? Thanks !

Nice patterns and good looking castings. Did you make the patterns out of aluminum? I do some casting and have made all of my patterns out of wood.

This engine is an Elmer Wall design from about 1946. It has a 1 inch bore and uses spark ignition with a 3 volt model airplane coil. It has an aluminum piston with two cast iron piston rings. The fuel is gasoline or Coleman lamp fuel.
