Yes, you can buy replacement heads for Bridgeport mills {not made by them} for about $2500.00 and that table does not look too bad..
After seeing your shaper restoring post , it makes me want to get my old shaper out and clean it up. But its too cold here now.

There was a Maximat 11 lathe here in the states locally for sale about 50 miles from me {no mill}, I rushed to phone but it was sold very fast.
I did find a Myford ML7 later. I was looking for a small lathe I could use in the house, the South Bend 13 is in the unheated garage.

If you can get access to a co2 cylinder and a regulator you can run the engine, I got my regulator from the Coke man free and used a little co2 from work

Even with full size boilers we have trouble with sight glass and washers, the boiler water eats the glass at the bottom of the sight glass
and needs to be replaced from time to time, I have seen the high presser glass fail {blow} also. Return water {make up water] will also eat steam traps
