1/4 Scale 1895 St. Joseph Iron Works veneer lathe

I tried a pc. of White Oak. It actually worked pretty good, but the driver lugs stripped out of the ends of the log & started to slip. Softwoods work the best. The blade is razor sharp.

I will post a video once I get time to fire up the Steam Engine and make some veneer. I have change gears on the feed drive so I can make veneer from .057" - .085" thickness. https://photos.app.goo.gl/HMiXF3wZcqtnLEVk6 This video was taken early on just to see if it would work! The log was...

    Arduino Rotary Table for Dummies

I have been offline for quite a while. After all of the discussions here, the only sketch that makes perfect divisions in a complete circle is the one that Timo claims he "butchered". I made a few modifications to the menu screen to suit my indexing head and I have made several perfect gears...

Finishing up my version of Arduino indexer for dummies.

I'm not home right now to test this sketch until next week sometime. As I look through the code I don't see where the missing steps are picked up to make a full 360 revolution when picking divisions not equally divided into the stepper motor? example (If you choose 21 divisions you would come...
