    Todd it's a spade bit. I had to make .002" cuts max. It's done though :)

    Yes a spade bit @ 1.125" It took forever but worked perfectly.

    Hi all, I had to make two concave cuts out of a 1" square brass stock. One with a radius of 1.125" the other 1.375". I didn't have the proper tool so I improvised. The first picture shows what I used and the others are the results. Enjoy! Guess which tool I used? Rob

    Dave is there is an issue with the base, couldn't a 1/4" piece of steel be used to reinforce it? Just asking?
