Dave, The time displayed is whatever you have your time zone set to in your profile. So, if you have it set to your local time zone (instead of the default Zulu) then it will show the post at your local time.

Not to be contrary, Ken, just a warning: oil or grease in the boiler is not a good idea. It'll attach itself to the shell and carborize causing hot spots that will eventually burn through. Sounds like a Java issue. You might try clearing out the java cache in windows control panel. Also updating java may help.
