Hi all I have built a Hoglet and before trying to start it I decided to use my newly constructed compression tester. When turning the engine over I get 50 psi max but it drops off to zero, is this OK or should it hold the pressure, if so for how long.

Now that's what I call dedication and not taking the easy route. The end result looks great good job.

So tell me when you cut the outside of the gear box you said you just plunged cut, are you just using the outline you have drawn on it as your guide. If so I am very impressed as I have a similar job to tackle and was wondering how to approach it.
