    Machining 303 on the South Bend 9" lathe

    If you are having problems with belt slippage, look in to replacing the leather belt with a serpentine belt. It made a night and day difference on my Heavy 10. I have machined all types of S/S and Steel with no problems with carbide indexable tooling. cheepo45
