    Eccentric I normally glue the spacer piece in and leave it until all machining of crank is finished, that way you will not accidently build in any warp or twist. Cheers Andrew

    Brian, You should be able to get shorter bolts, these are 4-40 x 1/4 I use for walbro carby rebuilds. Cheers Andrew

    Brian, From the Engineers Black Book, the 4-40 drill size is a #43, which gives a 71% thread depth. Just thought it may help. Cheers Andrew

    Brian, I was going to suggest that you get some more taps and dies and use plenty of lube on them. Work out how many holes and divide by the number of taps and only do that many holes and then use a new tap. And just take it slow, what you don't get done today, you can always do it tomorrow...

    Hi All, Got the rear cover intake done today. machined rear cover, lapped in the crank, then machined outer part/intake of the cover in mill. Set up crank and machined intake port. Fitted intake tube to back-plate and checked the assembly. Cheers Andrew
