    I think that is 1 ½ copper pipe it comes type K, L & M for wall thickness. Trying to fined it metric could problem most Americans would use pipe sizes. Just look up internet under pipe. Dave

    One many uses for lathe was line boring engines back around 1900 . Witch can still be done today . Back 1900 they would make a jig to hold the casting on lathe carriage. Most lathes back in 1900 had tee slots for jig to bolted to carriage. Manufacturer would use lathe for almost everything...

    Most on 6 volts was plus ground. The 12 volt when to negative ground. I switched tractors and forklift to 12 voltage. Started real good on 12 volts use a 6 volt starter. Dave

    Even at $40.00 it still cheap over making your own points. . Photo cell also good option. Some use magnetic type too. It is changing times and electronics are replacing the old metal points. I saw back in 1960's Dave

    My ok to polish the knives today as long not over 10 minutes. It get 108° F [42° C] This what used to polish the knives. Hope you put your other uses for your mini lathe here for all to see. Dave

    Today look a plexiglass rod I just received. Planning first trying making game pieces and later a engine. I have used a lot of UHMW This first time for turning plexiglass. Before start I have install a new toilet flush valve Any comments on plexiglass?
