So the next 3 test pieces I turned down the oxygene just to the point where the flame goes from blue to yellow . And then back a bit , a tiny little bit on the blue side otherwise I wouldn't see anything . And then like magic .... look at the pictures .

    Soldering or brazing aluminium help

Guys , what can I say ... I'm speechless . Friend of mine who's an hvac technician gave me 5 rods . He said he bought it years ago , tried it and couldn't get it to work . So this evening I reluctantly did some test pieces , using an acetylene / oxygen torch as a heat source . Expecting...

    Soldering or brazing aluminium help

I have flaring tools , but that doesn't work on thin walled alu tube . It'll work , but won't last long , especially in a car . Swagelock's won't work either , the material is to soft for that . Soldering or brazing is the only way .

As an illustration of what a gear pump is capable of . I once made a mistake installing an oil temp sensor on an 136Hp audi 5 cilinder engine . That sensor replaces the bolt that holds the pressure regulator spring in place . Part of the regulator was assembled backwards , basicly disabling it...

A relief valve at the discharge of the pump to limit and stabilise the oil pressure . Thinking of a T-kind of piece at the discharge end of the pump , with a small ball and a spring . Pressure can be adjusted on the bench before assembly . Combine this with a restriction , like a needle valve ...

    ENGINE SPEED GOVERNORS

A good load for this would be an ac generator . The rpm determines the frequency , wich is usually 50 or 60Hz . Then the alternator could be loaded with an ac motor or some light bulbs and the governor would have to work to maintain rpm . Great work brian

    Draftsight users , beware !

Nanocad has been suggested to me by a couple of friends . I'll give it a go for sure , but I'm a bit worried now that someday thesame will happen . Does it also need an online activation , I don't know . But if it does I guess I won't take any chances . I want to limitthe drawing time as much...

Tips for Arduno software for Rotary Table Controllers
