    "Dribbler" Loco Plans

Here are the plans I've created for the Birmingham "Dribbler" locomotive. See Birmingham Dribbler - Wikipedia This little engine was originally offered as a "Toy" in the late 1800's & reproduced years later. I take no credit for the design & re-created the entire engine from pictures on the...

    Solid fuel tablet sizes

I'm designing a burner tray for my "Dribbler" loco & was wondering if someone could give me the sizes of the "Solid Fuel" (Esbit, Meta", other) tablets that are available (Length, width, height). A quick look at the Esbit website shows me 3 sizes available: 14, 5, & 4 grams, but no dim's/sizes...

    "Dribbler" loco

Thank you gents! All very good info! I decided that I would solder 2 "Lugs", front & back of the boiler that also help "Cradle" the boiler having 4 points of contact (center of cradle being relieved) & fastened with 2 cap screws each from the lower frame, Kind of like a "Vee" block, but...

    "Dribbler" loco

Progress, even if slow, progress... Still working on it, had some problems with getting the proportions right. This being a "Toy" wasn't really built to any particular scale. The "Frame" was a cast base, so I spent a lot of time trying to re-create something that resembled that. I ran into some...
