    Drill point gage question

    very easy to sharpen drills...keep point centered, same angle on both side. keep it cool. if you burn it with grinding wheel it will weakin that part of drill. also make sure you have clearance so it wont rub more then cut.

    way to make alum. less flexible

    look at a 1/10 losi chassis or rc10gt. they are aluminum not much more then .062 thick. for a losi peewee then i would think .062 would be fine. just add some braces for front. Once it is all together i bet it wont flex. bolt on tranny, motor mounts and servo plate for mounting servos you...

    I use drill point gage every day. but never use the protractor part. just spent the extra couple dollars for a usable protractor.

    How to make a T-handle Allen wrench

    This way is very affective. We make ares like this for work and they last long time. Im in the screw machine trade and we make the handle different lenghts. also put alot of torque on them as long as the weld for the handle holds.

    Yeah a lathe or mill can be pretty dangerous no matter how much experience. Honestly i would never put lathe or mill tool holders any where you would have to reach over or around the spindles or chucks. even at work we have carts and a rack for chuck keys and stuff off to the side. nothing...

    if its 360 free cuttung brass you can crank up the rpm and feed the crap out of it, but brass is soft and grabby. if you get chatter you can dull out your tool or put atouch above center to let rub alittle. i work on multi spindles and we run brass at 400+ sfm
