    Being interested in steam engines for awhile just never got around to buying a kit or trying to build one.     Thanks tin yes have being looking at the stuart engines might just go with one off them will give me a good idea of how they are built and a stepping stone to a scratch build

    Starter kit

    Hi what make of engine would be a good starter kit to get. Either a stationary engine or a traction engine being looking at the markie traction engine but don't really want to spend €3000 on my first kit. Thanks Peter
