    Ic engine castings

Has anyone ever done drawings and casting for some of the classic motor bike engines like the Manx Norton, 7R AJS etc ? I know various people have built them as one off's but did they ever become commercial items ?

Arduino control for a 3” rotary table

Bob, Full marks for this job, especially the keypad. I have been asking for years [ literally ] why someone can't put one of those cheap keypads on instead of the silly 4 buttons. As regards your coupling don't use a Lovejoy type they are not flexible enough. Lokk instaed for an Oldham coupling...

    Yahoo groups

I dare say like many I used to use the Yahoo groups a lot for some of the varied interests I have. Since they went over to the new Neo format some while ago things have gone from bad to worse. Even worse if you 'own' a group or two as I do. It make you have to jump thru hoops to approve...

    Cam Grinder on The Go

Sorry to hi-jack this thread but many years ago I owned a cam grinder. It was a full size machine but home made and based on an old capstan lathe. It was originally made for doing cams on racing MG's to give an idea on size. Hang on. Just remembered I have a picture as I described it on another...

Hi guys and girls, signed back in to see what's happening and probably take part again but the site has changed a bit . I now get a large banner on the left of the page with nothing on it except a picture and Project of the Month from Brian Rupnow. All the post are crammed on the right and I...

Tips for Arduno software for Rotary Table Controllers

My tubes don't fit by the collar, they fit using the three existing tapped holes when the dial assembly is removed. Don't think I have a vertex unit here but my girlfriend has one and I'm up there at the week end so I'll strip it, take some pictures and measurements and post early next week.

Tips for Arduno software for Rotary Table Controllers

Yes Rod, they are my design. There are only two parts, the flanged tube although that does have a pressed in steel mounting flange with the 21 mm hole in it and the actual steel stepper mounting. It's done this was as the three bolts holding the tubs on never sit in the same position table to...

Tips for Arduno software for Rotary Table Controllers

OK will sort them out. Checked last night and the ones I have are not complete. I have a 'pattern' set I tend to copy for each batch so I know they work but as all drawings are at my expense and not the customers they tend to be either crude or not updated.

Are you still looking for a drawing of the vertex mounting ? I make these for a company but the drawing and design is mine so I don't mind sharing.

    Arduino ?

Good move, I could see the beginnings of a series of troll posts or at the least much mis-information. Problem with the internet is once it's out there, it stays out there.

    Chinese tb6560 driver board

Cant see why it wouldn't run with EMC, most of the problems seem to be hardware related, power supplies etc sooner than software.
