Was thinking could make a new sleeve with internal 8 acme - then cut away remains of thread in original and solder in. Wanted to use insert to cut left hand internal threads in sleeve. Not sure I can use External right hand insert - can not find Internal Left Hand. Bob

There is a Web site that lists the dimensions for all the different tapers - hope you have a taper attachment . The cutter end is simply a shaft with a nut and a pin driven in to engage the slot in the cutter.

Joe: If the part number you have 604482 is correct for the Tumbler Gear on your earlier version machine that would be 600130. That gear is OD 1.7273 DP 22 pa 20 degree 36 Tooth. That is not a common cutter which unless you have one or have a source I will order ($50). Boston gear does not have...
