Fuel is 40% ether, 40%castor oil, 20% kerosine. Once run in will use equal amounts of each. Here are my drawings for the engine, if someone wants to put it on CAD that would be great.

Decided to revisit this little guy 3 years and about 2 to 3 hours running when it lost a lot of comp and other problems. So, just made a new Cast iron piston, new rod and gudgeon for it - and now running as originally designed to do. The alloy piston was not a success, with what I have learned...

Just tried it with a Tornado 8 x 4 nylon prop, not without some trepidation as the larger prop adds to the stresses. Came through with flying colours - around 9300 rpm average but still surging and not sure why. Sometimes revs to near 10000 others drops below 9000. After the 2 minute run, still...

Here is the little twin 049 engine build. The attached .pdf gives the build instructions for this engine. There might be a few typo's - apologies for that - getting a bit late here in Sydney ! cheers ... Ed
