Electrics_box.JPG
Electrics_box.JPGElecrics Box389 viewsTo keep everything tidy, I used a 12mm pine board covered with 0.65mm steel sheet to make what I have named the “electrics box” front panel. It keeps all the electrics and VFD out of chips and hams way. No cables to be seen at all as all the necessary wiring goes now through 12mm pvc piping neatly held against the inside walls. Latheworks

Mine_engine.JPG
Mine_engine.JPG678 viewsThis is a much modded version of Elmer Verburg's mine engine. The main modification other than all the bling was to add a slip eccentric to allow fwd/rev running plus a better looking activation linkage for the control valve Bogstandard

DSCN0014.JPGTos Su-16 tool post520 viewsThought you might want to see my lathe. It's a Tos Su-16 purchased new May-2003. Has seen little use up to date but since I sold my Atlas 3990, it will soon come into "production"!

Here is the 4 tool post block. Massive but a bit too complicated to use! The side reinforcements prevent any overhang so tools cannot be any wider than 11mm and all shims have to be narrowed!

I have a QCTP so it's neer used
